So, I caved. Set myself up on facebook...and was quite overwhelmed by the number of people who actually remembered who I am, despite my best efforts to be forgettable. >_<
Uhm...so...how does one turn this thing off, exactly? I think that I'd like to go back into my hidey-hole now...

Horrid, isn't it? Although there are a few folks I really missed and am glad to have gotten back in touch with.
Let's just hope my MySpace account stays under the radar or I'll never get anything done!
Oh, you can deactivate your account. It's under account on the right top hand corner of the screen. Scroll right down and it says "deactivate your account". Or you could just crank your privacy settings way up so nobody can find you in a search. Then you can just stalk people yourself, but not have them stalk you!
I am still resistant to facebook. I am quite comfy here in my hidey-hole.
It's overwhelming, isn't it?
The best part I have found though is that almost all of my jr high class (we were french immersion, so together from 7-9) have been posting old pics of us from back in the day, and we've been bonding over bad hair and awful fashion. Fun!
