Phew.
Still alive over here, sorry about the radio silence. It's just been that since I hit the third trimester, it's like I walk straight into a brick wall most days. I've spent the last few days napping (not voluntarily - I seem to pass out every time I sit down), and haven't been keeping up with my giveaway. So, to make up for lost time, I will be posting three giveaways today, and will enter anyone who comments for all three, but in separate draws.
In home knit news, finished a headband (I love Belle, but wanted something I could wear with a ponytail), put it on and promptly watched Mr. Ninja fall down laughing. Apparently it looks like one of those 80s headbands from a porn movie (his phrase, not mine). Gah. I have no luck with headwear, I tell you. Also finished a pair of mittens for myself...it's damn cold out there!
So, at the moment, I only have Eleanor on my needles. For some reason, I'm finding it hard to knit on this sock...despite the ease of the pattern and the beauty of its sibling. Bizarre.
Giveaways!
The winner of the Wonderwool was Kerry & Erin! Congrats!
Up for grabs:
Debbie Bliss Soho. Lovely 100% wool.
Trekking Pro Natura. Bamboo/wool sock yarn! This stuff is so much fun to knit with.
And finally, some of Lucy Neatby's BFL in the DK weight.
Good luck all! I'll try to stay conscious enough to post daily from now on. ;)

Oh man, the third trimester is THE WORST, isn't it??
I hope you start to get more energy soon!
Oh, I have headwear trouble too... what's up with that?
So glad you are ok, you had me worried there...
Put me in for the draw, since I'm here :)
And hey, I'm not far from you, and I'm mobile, so if there is anything you need, you know how to get in touch.
That last trimester is a bear... it wasn't that long ago that I was lying on the couch trying to stay conscious enough to keep an eye on the 3 year old so she didn't seriously hurt herself.
That trekking looks so pretty!
Take care of yourself!
Cute headband and mitts. Nothing ever looks good on my head either lol You should try making a panta, they are pretty stylish these days. Take care!
You don't have to enter me, I just wanted to mention that the Calorimetry pattern from Knitty winter '06 (I think) is a really good headwear option for pony-tails, if you haven't already knit one. They're superfast, still nice and warm and wear better than a head band anyway. Just another option! Hope you got the email I sent!
Oh the third trimester. I hope things start feeling better soon. Love the mittens. Please put me in the drawing.
Wear that porn headband with pride... it's awesome!
Too many delicious yarns to soak in... I hope one comes my way...
Disregard former comment...saw your Calorimetry in your Ravelry notebook. Very cute, BTW.
I totally hear you on the third trimester woes! I was on bedrest the whole time both of my pregnancies.
The yarns are beautiful!!!!!!!!
I love those mittens!
I've been spending a lot of time napping lately, too, and I don't even have pregnancy as an excuse. Can I call it hibernation since it's the middle of winter?
Glad all is OK! It's sweet of you to do these drawings and then to ",ake up for lost time" on top of it. Surely, everyone would have understood!
Totally hear about the 3rd trimester. It didn't help that I ate everything that wasn't nailed down. And the further along I got the harder it was finding a comfy way to lay down. Most of my napping was done practically sitting upright, my huge belly resting on my lap, or at least that's how I remember it! Get all the rest you can now. No point fighting it.
P.S. I'd like to be put in the draw. Thanks.
awwww =( hang in there. I can't imagine chasing after a little one while being that exhausted.
I'm glad you're hanging in there but boy do I remember those days in the last trimester of feeling like you just may not make it a day longer!! Hang in there, Girl. You're almost there!!
